The Challenge
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Cat’s Pride, one of Oil-Dri’s most popular brands, was looking to execute a campaign which would give back to consumers during this unprecedented time. Cat’s Pride wanted to safely reward loyal customers with a high value offer after they engaged with their “Cats Working For A Cause” social campaign. The pandemic made executing this campaign more challenging than usual. With many cities imposing lockdowns and encouraging consumers to stay home, typical print-at-home offers valid for in-store purchase were not a viable option. Cat’s Pride did not have direct to-consumer eCommerce capabilities in place, but could incentivize consumers to purchase their products at third-party retailers such as Chewy, Walmart and Amazon. Cat’s Pride needed a way to safely incentivize consumers while simultaneously driving sales at their retail partners online or instore without increasing risk of fraud.

- 32% increase in online sales in 30 days
- ~14K delivered in rewards to loyal customers
- 15,000 pounds of cat litter donated to animal shelters around the country
