NEW YORK, August 25, 2015—RevTrax® today announced the extension of its digital patent portfolio with a patent for technology that further enhances the security and tracking capabilities for customer digital promotions.

Patent US 9,117,226 is a technology which verifies that web traffic to a specific digital coupon is being driven from an approved site or channel, essentially preventing any coupon offer from going viral or being shared beyond the initial target audience. The patent for this technology applies to digital coupons that can be accessed via desktop, tablet and mobile device and can be redeemed online or in-store addressing the needs of the omnichannel retail space.
