Across all RevTrax clients, both retail and CPG, mobile traffic more than doubled, from 15% of traffic in 2012 to 36% in 2013. Think of it this way: more than 1 in 3 RevTrax coupons served to consumers were viewed on a mobile device. 45% of mobile traffic was driven through social media campaigns, followed by affiliate programs at 40%, with email promotions coming in third with 33%. If these numbers tell us anything, it’s that mobile-optimized promotions are not an option anymore. Every promotion should be accessible to consumers on any device, whether it’s a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
Not only do mobile promotions unlock opportunity for retailers and brands to target on-the-go consumers with relevant and timely content, but think about what you’re missing if you’re driving customers away through a bad experience. Consumers are already there. You don’t want to play catch-up. It’s time to incorporate mobile into everything you do.
